it has managed and consulted on more than 14 different courses in New England.
Johnson Golf is contracted by the owners of each course for a specific time
to improve course conditions and management.

Douglas Johnson- Company founder and President
Doug’s expertise comes from over 30 years in the golf business. Doug
has been a certified golf course superintendent,a member of the Golf Course
Superintendents Association, and a member of the Massachusetts Turf &
Lawn Council. Doug Johnson's knowledge of club management began with his work
at the Westchester Country Club, Rye, NY directing the maintenance staff at
25 year old. He's managed the Framingham Country Club and revitalized the
Pine Brook Country Club in Weston, MA into one of New England's finest golf
courses.
Joe Eckstrom- Company Director of Operations for over ten
years, Joe has over 20 years of experience in golf management and is a member
of Golf Course Superintendents of New England. He oversees the general operation
of all locations which includes hiring of maintenance staff, supervising site
capital improvements such as tee and green construction, irrigation installation,
planting, and drainage. He also interacts with club committees on town concerns
including conservation and environmental issues.
Kelly Laramee - Vice-President. Kelly has worked for Johnson
Golf for nearly 10 years. Most recently, she managed North Hill Country Club
for four years and Strawberry Valley for two years. Currently, Kelly is the
Business Manager of JGM.
Bill Allen – Head PGA Golf Professional and Director
of golf instruction at South Shore Country Club and North Hill Country Club.
Bill has been with JGM for 10 years. With his team of instructors, the Bill
Allen junior golfer camps and golf schools are a huge success with aspiring
young golfers and those who are looking to improve their game.

1991 – Sky Meadow Country Club, Nashua, N.H. named the number one public
golf course in New Hampshire by Golf Digest.
1993 – Shaker Hills Golf Club, Harvard, MA named the number three best new public golf course in the USA by Golf Digest.
1997 – Acushnet River Valley, Acushnet, MA nominated for best new public golf course in the USA by Golf Digest. It is touted by Cornish and Silva as one of the best “grow-ins” in New England.
2000 & 2001 – George Wright Golf Course, Hyde Park, MA named the “Best of Boston” by Boston Magazine.
2001 – North Hill Country Club, Duxbury, MA named one of the top three nine hole golf courses in Massachusetts by Publinks Magazine.
2001 – Whaling City Golf Course, New Bedford, MA opened to rave reviews by the Standard Times after being closed for a year for major renovations done by JGM.
2002 – Beverly Golf and Tennis Club, Beverly, MA named
four golf holes in the top eighteen on the North Shore by Bostongolf.com.
2002 – George Wright Golf Course, Hyde Park, MA named the number two
public golf course in Massachusetts by Golfweek Magazine.
